How do I recycle my Dopper bottle?

We are serious about recycling. That's why all our bottles carry the Cradle to Cradle certification. Dopper bottles are easily separated into individual materials, ready for recycling.

The bottles are best recycled when we do it ourselves
Sounds a bit arrogant, but we want to take responsibility for the materials we put in the market. By taking back all bottles at the end of their life. We know our materials and we know how to turn them into a valuable source for new products. Check this page for more information about our take back program.

Public recycling
If you are not able to make use of our take-back program, please separate the main parts and use one of the following recycling methods for our bottles:

Dopper Original
Body (PP, Nr 5): Municipal plastic waste or local recycling station
Cup (ABS, Nr 7):  Municipal plastic waste or local recycling station
Cap (PP, Nr 5):  Municipal plastic waste or local recycling station

Dopper Steel
Body (stainless steel): Local recycling station or general waste*
Cup (PETG, Nr 7): Municipal plastic waste or local recycling station
Cap - plastic (PP, Nr 5): Municipal plastic waste or local recycling station
or
Cap - metal (stainless steel): Local recycling station or general waste*

Dopper Insulated
Body (stainless steel): Local recycling station or general waste*

Dopper Glass

Although these methods are based on the Dutch waste system, they should apply to most European countries.

*Metal is routinely recovered from Dutch household waste after incineration.

What!? The Dopper Glass can’t be thrown into the glass container? Why did you use this material?

The Dopper Glass bottles are made of borosilicate glass. This type of glass has a lot of kick-ass qualities. It’s thin, light and surprisingly strong. But wait, there’s more! Bottles made of borosilicate glass have superior clarity, durability and heat resistance. It even has ocean saving powers, in the right shape and form. All those aspects together increase the lifespan of your favourite bottle significantly. We’d rather have a bottle that stays beautiful for ages, compared to one that you’ll only like for a short time.
