Small reality check
Some drinks (especially coffee, juice, or anything colourful) may leave a smell or tint in the plastic parts. That’s normal.
Don’t store drinks longer than 24 hours. Perishable liquids can cause bacteria growth, which can build pressure. Open with care.
5. Is the Travel Mug leakproof?
Yes, the Travel Mug is leakproof. Just make sure to close it properly and take care of your product.
6. How long does it keep drinks hot or cold?
- Hot: up to 6 hours
- Cold: up to 20 hours
Be careful with hot drinks. Steam travels.
7. How do I drink from the Travel Mug?
- Flip the lid (completely!) to the other side, until you hear a soft click sound.
- Sip, enjoy and keep refilling.
- Close the mug by flipping the lid again and hearing a click sound.
8. The Travel Mug makes a ‘sssssh’ sound when I open it. Why?
That’s just pressure release. Hot or carbonated drinks build up pressure.
When you open it, that pressure escapes.
All completely normal.
9. I hear a squeaking sound when I open or close the caps on my Travel Mug. What is the reason for that?
The screw thread is tight on purpose; it needs to handle sparkling water pressure. Tight seal = slight squeak.
10. The Mug Ring gets warm with hot drinks, is that normal?
Yes, this is normal. The ring covers the seal area, so it can warm up slightly with hot drinks.
11. How long will carbonated drinks stay fizzy?
It depends on:
- How often you open it
- How full it is
- The temperature
On average: up to 24 hours.
