Our projects
At Dopper we work on projects that help increase access to safe drinking water, especially in places where people can’t just fill up at a tap. Every reusable bottle we sell contributes to this work.
Water for all in Nepal
Access to clean water is a human right, yet many communities still don’t have it. In Nepal, for example, around 81 % of people lack access to safe drinking water. Through long-term partnerships and on-the-ground projects, Dopper helps change this.
How the projects work
We support two main local partners:
-
Simavi: a Dutch NGO working to bring clean water, sanitation and equal opportunities to communities, especially women and girls. Together we’ve installed hundreds of water points and toilets in several districts of Nepal.
-
SmartPaani: a Kathmandu-based social enterprise focused on sustainable water solutions. They develop and install systems for rainwater harvesting, filtration, recycling and wastewater treatment. Our collaboration has included installing water filtration systems in schools across multiple regions.
Together with these partners, Dopper’s projects have helped tens of thousands of people gain access to safe drinking water, and the work continues.
Why this matters
We believe reusable bottles and refill culture only make sense if everyone can easily access clean water. By supporting projects that improve water infrastructure and treatment, we work toward that goal.
