Can anybody use the Dopper Water Taps?
The Dopper Water Tap is suitable for any bottle. Any size and any bottle brand can easily be refilled.
In terms of location it depends on the location where the tap is placed if it is accessible. You will find the publicly available Dopper Water Taps on Google Maps by typing in ‘water tap’!
Can I add flavours, chilled or sparkling water to the Dopper Water Tap?
We chose to offer only ‘normal’ tap water with the Dopper Water Tap. By adding a sparkling water option we would emit 91 times more greenhouse gases, and by adding a cooling option we would emit 66 times more greenhouse gases (Jungbluth, 2006). Additionally, the Dopper bottle is not a great fit with fizzy drinks. And finally, we want to continue on our mission to normalize drinking out of a tap and we will achieve this faster if we focus on offering only ‘normal’ tap water.
Of course, you can add this to your drink such as fresh fruits, herbs or lemonade, but only after you’ve tapped! Want some inspiration? Check out our blog. It’s not possible to add flavours, chilled or sparkling water to the Dopper Water Tap itself.
