1. How do I use the Flip Straw?- If necessary, cut your straw the right size. Watch here on how to check if your straw is the right size for your bottle.
- Attach the straw (wider part of the straw) to the cap
- Screw the cap onto your bottle
- Sip from the Flip Straw by pressing your finger on the spout (hint: look for the droplet)
- Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate
- When done sipping, flip it back tightly
You can find your Dopper’s size on the bottom of the bottle.
Can’t find it? Just fill your bottle using a measuring cup to check how much water it holds. Or just check the website.
Good news:
If you have a Dopper Insulated 580 ml or Dopper Steel 800 ml, you don’t need to cut the straw — it already fits.
For the Dopper Original, Dopper Insulated 350 ml, or Dopper Steel 490 ml, you can trim the straw at the marked line for the best fit.
3. Which Dopper bottles is it compatible with?
The Flip Straw fits all Dopper bottles.*
For the Dopper Original, Insulated 350 ml, and Steel 490 ml, you can trim the straw at the marked line for the perfect fit.
*Note: when using the Flip Straw in combination with the Dopper Insulated your drink will stay 24h cold. Do not use the Flip Straw with hot drinks.
4. Can you use the Flip Straw without the straw?
Technically, you can do anything. Practically, we don’t recommend it, as it needs the straw to work properly.
5. With what drinks can you use the Flip Straw?
The Flip Straw is designed for still, cold drinks.
Please don’t use it with hot liquids or anything fizzy (sparkling water included), as this could affect the pressure and damage the bottle.
6. Can I still drink from the Flip Straw while tilted?
Yes, you can, just keep gravity in mind. If you tilt the bottle more than 45 degrees, the straw might not reach the water at the bottom. Keep it upright-ish for the best flow.
7. How to get the last flipping bit of water out?
If your straw is cut to the right length, you should be good. The Flip Straw is designed to bend and reach the bottom of the bottle
8. What materials is it made of?
The cap base and spout are made of polypropylene.
The seals and straw are made of silicone.
9. What are the Flip Straw’s dimensions?

10. Does it make a slurping sound while drinking?
No, we didn’t want you to be that person at the gym. Zero slurping guaranteed.

The cap and straw are matte.
12. What is the product’s lifespan?
Dopper products come with a 5-year warranty for normal use.
- Normal use means:
– You only use the Flip Straw with still, cold water.
– You clean it regularly, by hand or in the dishwasher (max. 65°C).
– You dry it thoroughly after each use.
- Taking good care of your Dopper helps it last longer — just the way it was designed to.
About cleaning:
1. How do I clean my Flip Straw?
For everyday cleaning detach the straw from the cap and open the spout.
Put all parts in a (mild) soapy bath with warm water (up to 65 degrees) and let it soak.
You can use a sponge or brush (< 1 cm) to clean the smaller parts and straw. Here is an example of brush to use: https://www.ecomondo.nl/winkel/schoonmaakborstel-voor-rietjes-a-slice-of-green/
Rinse off all the parts and dry all parts thoroughly.
You can also put the Flip Straw in the dishwasher on the top rack.
2. Is it easy to clean thoroughly?
The Flip Straw is easy to clean thoroughly.
You can detach the spout, seals and straw and clean every part individually.
You can also put all the parts of the Flip Straw in the dishwasher (top rack) (up to 65 degrees).
To get rid of any remnants of taste and smell let the parts of the Flip Straw soak in (baking)soda and rinse them with (natural) vinegar.
After washing always make sure to dry all parts thoroughly.
3. Is it dishwasher safe?
Yes, it is dishwasher safe (up to 65 degrees).
